Lighting is underrated. A single ceiling fixture puts the user's own shadow exactly where they are looking, and leaves the shower interior dim. Thermostatic or pressure-balancing valves are worth specifying where scald risk is a concern, and putting shower controls near the entry means the water can be started without standing under it.
